This delightful barn conversion is situated in a
quiet, private location on Resparva farm (no
longer operational). Resparva is quite simply
perfectly placed for exploring Cornwall in its
entirety. Both the north and south coasts in
addition to numerous enchanting villages, popular
towns, Cornwall's wealth of fine gardens and
historic and modern attractions are all within
easy reach. Being situated only 2 miles from
Cornwall's main arteriel road, the A30, Resparva
is extremely easy to find and ideally located to
explore the county at leisure.
The Parlour was originally the pig parlour for
Resparva and was converted only about 20 years
ago. It is a stone built, single storey, detached
property comprising front hall, a large kitchen/dining
room, living room, 2 double bedrooms (1 ensuite), bathroom
and private garden with parking. The Parlour was
made into a warm, welcoming home by a wonderful
lady named Peggy, and thus the Piggy turned Peggy
and Peggy's Parlor was born.
From 2010 to 2012 the property was extended, re-roofed, re-
insulated, and reglazed with high specification materials which
meet current building reg standards. Wood fired central heating
and hot water was also added during this time.
Peggy's Parlour is tastefully and delightfully
furnished in a classic country style providing
accommodation of a high standard whilst retaining
the charm and character of a much loved home. In
addition the parlour benefits from long reaching
views across the surrounding farmland.
